In a departure from their previous strategy, Microsoft has decided to discontinue the practice of frequent major Windows releases and revert to a three-year release schedule. Consequently, the highly anticipated Windows 11 version 23H2 was abandoned as a significant release. However, it seems that the Redmond company has revived the operating system with a different approach. Instead of a major release, Windows 11 23H2 will be introduced as a minor update. Nonetheless, Windows 11 will receive a cumulative update, KB5026443, which will elevate the version to 22631.1830.
