We at times try to restore back the health of the PC by running a command like DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. This command is run with the aim of repairing the Windows image as they need repair every now and then. This also happens to fix a few of the other issues by working with the Windows Update.
But while running this command it is possible that you encounter this error message and the code
“Error 0x800f081f, The source files could be found.
Use the “Source” option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature…”
The command works while repairing an error by searching in Windows Updates (alternatively WSUS) in order to eliminate the dreadful files. As per this command, the RestoreHealth helps in mentioning an extra repair of the source locations in which the DISM tool can search to carry forward the repair task.
